Dive Sites

Mtwapa

Big overhangs at 20 metres inhabited by large marble groupers. Situated on the edge of the malango currents which can be quite strong.

Malaika

A very popular site as sharks and large turtles can be seen. A 15 - 20 metre dive.

Shark Point

Living up to its name, 6 to 7 white tip reef sharks can be seen cruising back and forth. This site also has the highest concentration of leaf fish. Can be dived either in the 20 - 25 meter range or on the plateau at 15 metres, but also a lovely 10 - 12 metre dive.

Sandy Ray

Known for its sandy patch at 8 metres full of blue spotted sting rays and which is used for Open Water training dives plus the Navigation Dive performed in the Advanced Course. Large schools of fusiliers and leaf fish around 16 meters.

Brain Coral

A site dominated by a large brain coral, banner fish and turtles. A 10 - 20 metre dive.

Tusker

Beautiful corals with schools of snappers and triggers plus lots of turtles. A 10 - 20 metre dive.

Lobster

Beautiful corals with big schools of fusiliers, snappers and triggers plus lobsters hiding amongst the corals. A 10 - 20 metre dive.

Coral Seaside

Known for all the turtles and leaf fish. A 10 - 15 metre dive.

Dania Wreck

A world class dive for the experienced diver. A 90 metre wreck lying in 30 metres of water. A large variety of fish to be seen including huge schools of jacks, snappers and bat fish. Large napolean wrasses, groupers and barracudas also call this beautiful wreck their home.

Coral Garden

The dive site that provides year round diving due to being protected by the fringing reef. With depths ranging between 1 and 6 metres, it's a great spot for diving and snorkelling. Suitable for students performing their first Open Water training dives. Many divers describe it as “like swimming in an aquarium”!
